Yeah...much better. Take a look at the roster's of the 2005 and 2006 teams vs. the 2016 and 2017 teams.

I did, and I disagree with your assessment.

Did DA D win us the NT in 2019 or was it the 2 coaches that O put in on the offensive side that led us to that NT?
Why did it take O 4 years to figure out a spread offense was the right move?
Why did he hire Ensminger as OC in the first place? There are 100 quality spread guys out there.

Miles. If he had ever brought in a great OC and could recognize REAL QB talent. But as much as I love Brandon Harris and Jefferson, Lee, Jennings.. they were never great players. Jefferson did lead us to a championship game which we lost to an Alabama rematch. But we couldn't move the ball.

Hey now! Everybody said McMillan was the best QB in the spring game...

Miles didn't build shite. His best years were with Saban recruits and Tommy Moffit in his prime. He gave us the most embarrassing loss in BCS history. It was because of his stubbornness that it occurred. He preyed upon Coeds. I will take the pre-divorce O over that Grass eating buffoon!
Miles never had to deal with the COVID year or having to replace nearly half your team and staff going into the COVID year.

Miles was stubborn and wouldn't change. At least O saw the future of college football. The forward pass!!! O learned in 1 year to let his coaches coach and he was the head coach of the best football team in College Football History!!! Miles was to set in his ways. He should have been fired in 2015.

4 yrs?
2016 interim
2017 hired Canada who many said was a great hire (Broyles winner)
2018-SE...you don't think our offense was open in 18?

SE is pretty well thought of in the coaching community as a good play caller and offensive mind. Quit listening to LSU fans.

Yeah he only had to deal with playing a game shortly after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. NBD

He literally hired a new OC and then fired that OC in 1 year and then re-hired the original OC he hired, who he then made adopt a new scheme.
O's offensive coaching hiring history is only slightly better than his defensive one (which is historically bad).

Yeah that spread offense in 2018, necessitating in hiring a co-OC to run...the spread in 2019

He's a good film guy but he had no concepts of building a modern offense. He had 3 years (2016, 2017, and 2018) and failed until Brady installed it in one offseason.

Les easy. It really shows the entitlement(unwarranted at that) our fanbase has with the way some treat Les. Hate to tell you guys this but, stats say he's the best coach in our history. Think that deserves a little respect.
Not even mad at O. Sure it ended bad but 2019 counts for something and for that special year O will always be remembered fondly by me.

I’d take Miles, make him the women’s basketball coach, and put Kramer’s mom in charge of the football program.
O/U on how many of his players Miles would frick? 10!

Orgeron before the divorce. Without a doubt. Kelly was what kept him in check.
