It’s fun in the fact that we’re playing with house money. No one expected this.

Yes, the expectations were different this year. A big life lesson for all .

Low expectations are the secret to having fewer disappointments and more happy moments.

And this season is right up with the 2011 and 2019 seasons in being fun, each was extremely fun in their own way.
I really like the fighting spirit of this team. A more talented and deep version of the team with this same spirit is basically unbeatable.

2019 you knew was a fluke. While fun as hell, it had no chance to sustain because of the retard at the helm. This you can tell is building towards something better no matter the end result of these next few games. We have an outstanding coach and we’re setting a foundation for long term success

Exactly. It’s obvious now that con man grifter spent 2019 with his head up his arse. The head coach position could have been left vacant that season and LSU would have still won a NC with Aranda and Ensminger in charge.

But yeah, he got his tens of millions when he should have never been more than a 200K a year defensive line coach.

Tate and Woodward knew the shade they were throwing during CBK’s opening presser when they said: “We were looking for, and we have somebody, who can SUSTAIN success.”

I have to be honest I am little ashamed at how pissed off I was at this team 6 games into the year but they turned a corner after Tenn.

It’s been fun yes, but it’s been frustrating too. Let’s finish strong on Saturday and see if we can make some noise in Atlanta

Closest year in comparison is 2001 or 2000, depending on the finish. I'd love an SEC championship. Anything after that is gravy. Need to take care of A&M first.

At the time it really felt like the stars had aligned for sure. In hindsight though it's even more crazy that that season worked out the way it did. NFL players all over the roster, coaching staff that perfectly complemented the skills of those players, and the last pre covid season we would have. Pretty crazy.

I think "19" was better. I remember getting ready for each game after about the 4th game into the season, and the thought in my head was, do you think we're going to score over 50 today? It's sounds funny but that was my inner thoughts. Kind of ridiculous when you think about it, but that team was just so good and so much fun to watch.

Overachieving seasons are always the most fun. 2019 will always be the best but going 15-0 is a lot of pressure

i think we as fans will be ok if we become a little spoiled;

but hope we never take on the 'entitlement attitude' like the bitches east of the state of Mississippi.

I remember every minute of every game in 2019. Most of us bitched after the Texas win that the defense was soft. It wasn't until we were 3 or 4 games into the season that we realized that what we had on offense was something very unique and special. And many were still bitching about the defense deep into the season.

This team's defense is better than 2019. Obviously, the offense doesn't compare, but we have a realistic shot at this. Enjoy this shite. We won't roll the dice with house money from this season out...

A distant second to 2019. For crying out loud, that season was as fun as it could possibly get. That season was like revenge fantasy fiction.

Yes I knew the “hire better coaches than me” model the entire regime was built under wasn’t sustainable. Most non idiots did
