I hate most parades, but I've loved the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade as long as I can remember. I might have missed it twice.
The balloons have always been my favorite part of the parade.
My top 5:
1. Snoopy
2. Charlie Brown
3. Garfield
4. Spiderman
5. The Macy's stars.

Not sure my favorite balloon, but that "Some like it hot" act was a little too weird for the parade, I think.

The Macys Directors after long discussion have decided to rename the parade beginning this year.
“We believe that a name change was long overdue. Something to show the wonderful variety, rainbow and menageries of people. We wanted to honor the immigrants, new and old, for the lessons they have taught Americans and the spicy life they’ve added to our formerly traditional families. For these reasons the parade directors have decided on the following name change and hope that you are as excited as we are.”
