Have they blamed Trump or me yet....bc they will.

I certainly feel for the folks killed and wounded regardless of reason.

Because 95% of all bars are “straight bars” perhaps?

unusual places
As opposed to a 'normal' place?
Yes, you fricking tard. Gay bars are unusual places. Compared to many other types of social gathering places, including night clubs, they are indeed uncommon. Especially when you consider gays of all stripes make up approximately 4% of the population.
Even in a city like New Orleans, which is filled with bars and night clubs all over the place. Gay bars are still relatively small in number.
This is why this attack happening in a gay bar is legit news. It meets the threshold of unusual.
Do you legit not get this shite or are you pretending not to?
And on the subject of "normal". No, gay bars aren't normal places. Those dudes routinely blow, frick and handjob each other in gay night clubs all the frickin' time and they spread disease in these places like Johnny Appleseed. Is that "normal" in the bars and night clubs you hang out in?

Why don’t they tag bars as straight bars then?

I don't get why these dipshits around here want to pretend that this shooting occurring in gay bar isn't germane to the story?
Dipshit has already decided.

Yes, no matter the orientation of the individuals this is a tragic event. We have a mental health crisis in this country.

he melted down because people claim that the gay part might be meaningless yet is saying he too admits it isn't certain.
So he's conflicted as frick.

What does adding the word 'gay' do for the story?
But you do you.

A crime was committed against a room full of a protected class. CNN can’t wait. All the horror story interviews they get to do.

Does it make the case less or more tragic?
Well, all the "gay" part did is cause bias to creep in which is exactly what the media loves to do.
Internet sleuths are fricking up people's lives over "more information."
Posted on 11/20/22 at 9:28 am to RogerTheShrubber
It is meaningless. Unless the gay part is the reason for the shooting.
But if it isn’t, it doesn’t matter bc the media will allow that narrative to take root. They want America to feel like a place where their kept social groups are in constant danger. They let the narratives precede the facts. Unlike similar shootings where suggesting Ali Muhammad Nasir might have been a terrorist isn’t permitted.

It just makes the reporting more thorough.

Sad, I wonder how many feds the shooter was in contact with. I'll lay 10-1 he was known to authorities.

Gotcha.
I prefer more anonymity to protect people who may have been killed or injured and may not want their sexual identity to be public.
Drama queens need to know all the information.
