What does adding the word 'gay' do for the story?
Why does that matter?
This is a serious question?
Fine, I'll spell it out. It's a potential hate crime. Just like someone walking into a black church and shooting the place up is a potential hate crime.
The gay part adds context to the story. Gay bars being shot up isn't like some ghetto juke joint getting shot up every Saturday night. It's a pretty uncommon occurrence and there's a fairly reasonable chance it was done by someone who doesn't care for queers all that much.
So in the early phases of this story, yes the context of the gay bar matters. As time passes, we'll know more.
Now do you understand?

Is the Coulter Rule in play?
Tick tock...

It's a mass manipulation ploy to set up a group persecution sympathy play on the public.
Got it.

Why don’t they tag bars as straight bars then?
Posted on 11/20/22 at 8:29 am to Pandy Fackler
That really isn’t the point. It would have been more “progressive” to refer to it as a bar popular with the local gay community or colored the attack as a potential hate crime for that reason. Just slapping the”gay” label on shite isn’t very inclusive.

"hate" crime = "assault" weapon.
It's redundant, retarded and meaningless.

Which is being pushed as a hate crime.

“Club Q is devastated by the senseless attack on our community,” the club posted on Facebook. It said its prayers were with victims and families, and “We thank the quick reactions of heroic customers that subdued the gunman and ended this hate attack.”
Colorado Springs is a city of about 480,000 located about 70 miles (112 kilometers) south of Denver that is home to the U.S. Air Force Academy. The city has long been an epicenter of American evangelicalism. Focus on the Family, a prominent evangelical Christian ministry, is based in Colorado Springs.
In November 2015, three people were killed and eight wounded at a Planned Parenthood clinic in the city when authorities say a man opened fire because he wanted to wage “war” on the clinic because it performed abortions.
And they already have potential perps. Good job Progs.

See how fricking stupid and exclusionary that sounds? I bet you think the gay community loves being singled out all the time by white liberals always looking for an excuse to say the word “gay”.
They do love it.
All of these so called marginalized groups want to be singled out. They want their victimhood on full display. Perceived persecution is a competition in this country now. A competition even conservatives have gotten in on. The MAGA's have now successfully framed themselves as marginalized and persecuted dissidents.
If you're not marginalized nowadays, then who are you and why should you matter?

White Christian Terrorism.
Thanks for my answer I was looking for.

They've already decided. I don't think most Americans need much evidence.

Criminalizing human emotion has got to be one of the all time dumbest ideas.

Focus on the Family is on radio and not promoting any violence for anyone.

Look, you asked a really dumb question, that I assumed wasn't rhetorical and you were given a reasonable answer.
You're welcome.
