Fun fact: The engines on M1 Abrams tanks and the 7.3 Cummins had interchangeable parts.

Huh? The Abrams is a turbine engine. There are zero interchangeable parts.

There are not many things more annoying than Ford/Chevy/Dodge truck guys telling one another how bad their trucks are.

They’re all great trucks, all with their own issues but seriously, the engine designs these days are 300,000 mile tested engines. They are stout.

Kia recently told customers to park their cars outside and not in the garage for some issue that could spontaneously start a fire even when the car is off and cold.

I thought only Ford did stuff like that.

I have one. It’s been fine in the few miles I have on it. That said, a recall was just issued for my transmission. I don’t expect to keep it for more than 5 years and I’m not confident it’ll last 5 years…but I still really like it.

Just drive any vehicle out to Slidell where they keep the tires, light it on fire and report stolen.

My Ford got recall notices damn near every month for a while. I don’t even open them anymore. Just throw them in a huge file where I store all the envelopes.

Nothing new. All the big three make pieces of shite now that all have their own problems. Dodge still can’t even get enough lug nuts to replace all the ones that snap while you’re going down the road.

Dodge, Chryslers are notorious about electrical issues.

The 'Big Three' have been putting out junk for the last 25 years.

As much as I hate to say it, Toyota and Honda has been kicking the Big Three's tail for 30 years.

Just wait till all these EVs start rolling out by the 100's of thousands that the left has been cramming down our throats.

The techs are having problems fixing vehicles right now.

You haven't seen nothing yet on recalls.

Toyota & Honda have been slow to jump on the EV bandwagon.

We are going to dealership parking lots full of useless heaps of crap called EVs waiting for parts and fixes with no end in sight.

When I bought my Ford F350 Super Duty I asked about getting a Cummins. The dealer said Ford owned Cummins but I still couldn't order my truck with one.

Love my 6.7 so not having a Cummings like my other 2 1 tons worked out for me.

And evidently Ford can't get windshield wipers.

The point is none of them make cars(with the exception of the bodies) anymore. They design them and then assemble the parts from other smaller manufacturers who make parts for all of them.

You should have asked him why their f700 line and up had a CUMMINS instead of the Ford engine.
