This seems to be a possible very important piece to his re-election puzzle. Whoever it will be would have an inside track in 2028 if he won. This person would also be needed to help pull some of the naysayers. Or will he go switch another America first candidate?

Trump needs a woman as a running mate.

Nikki Haley, possibly.

Probably at this point, his wife. And she probably wouldn't be thrilled to do that either.

Seriously though, who's going to want to run as his mate after Pence was disgraced? No sane person would now want to be in his cabinet IF he won (that's a pretty big if right now).

Don’t know about Cotten , but Hawley is a guy I can get behind . And make Gregg Jarrett the Attorney General .

He formed a mob to try to kill the last guy in this position so there may not be a long line of people that want this job.

before the 2016 election, there was a big get together in sea island, georgia by movers and shakers to try and stop trump from getting the nomination. tom cotton was one of those there. he can't be trusted.

My stance has been it needs to be someone with no 2028 aspirations, to give Desantis the 2028 frontrunner position. With all going on his choice will be an indicator on their relationship, and if Trump sees Desantis as his predecessor.

With that said, I still want someone that will help him clean house with no Prez aspirations. My support for Trump in 2024 is founded in him going scorched earth for a term and not having to worry about reelection. Having a VP that wants to be Prez will defeat that purpose.

Gives 2028 a legit clean slate for the new wave of young Repubs to hash it out too.

I like Hawley if Trump wants to throw a wrench into the 28 race. Lake losing her race definitely hurts her as she has no experience so throwing her in as VP wouldn't be good. But definitely find something for her to do. Clean up the FCC or something media related.

Why Jarrett as AG, other than him being an attorney? Someone threw out Texas' AG on here and after hearing him on national radio interviews before the elections, he sounds like a good option.

Trump gets beat up for appointing bad options in his first term, which he did, but didn't have many solid known supportive options. I think there are a lot of people who have shown their AF stripes in places like FL, TX, and other places for him to choose from. Maybe not near as many as Dems have of a committed army, but hopefully enough for the known ones to have good recommendations Trump can trust.

He'll choose a swamper like he did for his cabinet.
