I have a poli Sci degree.
I truly do believe it helped me develop skills and knowledge that was really helpful for law school and life.
While I do enjoy the "law" I hate dealing with people. Wish I did something that dealt less with people.

I regret my General Studies degree.
Had to rectify it by finding a niche and going to a top grad school that took a chance on me because of my professional resume. Finished with a 3.7.
I liked to party and hated going to class. Two things that doom most people in college.
If I could do it again, I'd probably join the service at 18 and go back when I was more mature at 22.
It worked out for me but it barely did.

For me, I wanted to be a sports journalist and thought I could end up being on Around the Horn or something or writing a national opinion column. When I realized I’d be covering girls high school volleyball and the like, I bailed.

Dr. Parent is awesome.
I'd say a liberal arts degree is best if you're trying to catch on with a smaller company. The owner sees it and knows you have the ability to learn a broad range of material, and with a smaller business they need people who can wear a lot of hats.

A good political science program should teach you to think and write with the clarity of an English major and develop research and deductive skills of a science major.
Maybe it's where you went to school or maybe you didn't work hard enough.

Hard to believe psychology majors are that happy with their degree. I guess with today's populous feeling like they all have mental health issues along with blaming their parents, society, etc. for their problems it must be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Unlike psychiatry, jobs that require a degree in psychology, even masters level, generally are not high paying relatively speaking.

I have a double bachelors, one of them in PoliSci. I also don't use it at all.
I do have a good corporate job though, so I'm fine I guess.
If I could go back in time, I would have gone into IT.

I’m surprised English is so low. It’s a few percentage points away from being majority “no regrets.”
