First I said holy shite he is going for 2 this is dumb. About 2 secs later it changed to screw it let’s ride.

I honestly figured Daniels would just run to the corner and use his speed. Was impressed by the throw and catch.

BK made a great point in the post game press conference. Said if he was given an opportunity to beat bama on one play from the three yard line, he’d take that 100/100 times. Never thought of it like that but I’m pretty certain most LSU fans would have taken that as well. I’m willing to bet the ending of the Florida state game also played a role in his decision

Loved it. Takes balls to make that call and it tells the team that their coach believes in them.

It was the best way to control if we won or lost. If you make it was your decision and if you don’t, it expresses courage by Kelly in your team. Saban did the same thing twice but I’m not sure of the value at that point in the game. Saban was clearly out coached last night.

Bama had 12 on the field and I was pissed we didn’t snap it to get a free play

couldn't believe the decision. I was against it, but I also knew we would lose in 2nd OT. Still in shock

He said he liked Daniels on the edge. We had just scored a TD on a 25yd run. Daniels is faster than any of their defenders, it was brilliant to go for it

I loved the call immediately

Kill them right then and there

Les Miles would’ve kicked the extra point and hope to hold for another stop and then score again. That’s what has screwed us all those years.

You have the ball. In your possession. And if you put it in the end zone you win. Period. Full stop.

It was the correct call.

What I did NOT expect was a pass.

When we scored the td I was thinking we needed to go for 2……….and then Kelly called for it. I even thought he might change to the extra pt after Bama called time out. Was thinking win or lose you have to put the ball in Daniels hands there and it was a great call.

I was behind my coach and his decision. I literally told the gumps I was watching the game with “no matter what happens on this play, I’m good with the choice” very glad it worked out for us.

Ambivalent. I’d like to see the OT rule changed such that if the first team to score makes a FG, then the next team can’t kick a FG. And if the first team scores a TD, the second team has to go for two, unless the lead is six.

I don’t see how anyone wouldn’t have wanted to go for 2. Doesn’t make sense to try and slug it out with them

I said before it worked that I'm all in on winning or losing that way vs. a missed PAT or more penalties.
