I thought that if we didn’t make it……no big deal. We left it all on the field. It took moxie for sure.

Love the call because I hate dragging out multiple ots like the 2018 Aggie game

I was fine with it - I’ve been hurt so much in these kinds of games against Bama I just wanted it to end win or lose.

Completely understood it knowing how the defense was gonna get worked at the 25 and at the 2 if it ever got to that point.

Not being a dick, but there’s a longer thread on exactly this that will get you better replies, because most of those guys are probably offline now. But keep this up for the morning crop’s opinion by all means.

Hated it but that’s why I’d be an awful coach.

Same. I was nervous the whole game, so there's that.

I was bought in 100% make it or not. We've lost worst, so why not go for the win?

People got on him for the fsu game not going for it. He made the right call. Great play call. Great catch and throw. He knew Daniels and Taylor were in the zone.

Win it now potential for success - 40-60%
Play another OT chance of a win - less than previous option
I never disagreed. Flash back to Miles beating the gators on the crazy flip to the kicker, a coach has to take that chance to get s big win

I liked it, thought if we had to keep going in overtime we would eventually come up short. Glad he ended the game on his terms

Hated every minute of it, till I didn’t hate it at all.

Haven’t seen this discussed but I love the fact that JD5 watched their 12th man run off the field before hiking it. Would’ve been a free play, but he said “frick your free play… we about to win this outright”

Shocked. But also not. We’ve seen a steady increase in this team’s progression. It’s nice to have a coach who knows what kids need to do to improve and makes them do it. This is how things are supposed to look at LSU.

Loved it. That was a culture building decision. Whether they got it or not, he was showing the team that he’s going to put it in their hands to try to win games.

I was adamantly against it at the time. Couldn’t even watch. CBK has brass balls. But I’m so glad he did it. Unbelievable finish. This beats the hell out of the tenner/gump finish.
