One person was shot and killed early Saturday morning, Nov. 5th. on N. Sherwood Forest Dr. It was just before 3am at the Towne Oaks Apartments when Baton Rouge Police Officers responded for a shooting.

They found a man who had been shot in the head and died on the scene. His name has not been released at this time. Just half an hour prior to the homicide, there was an unrelated double shooting at the Circle K on College Dr. BRPD officers responded for a shots fired call but said they could not find any evidence of a shooting.

Then, nearly an hour later, East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Deputies alerted BRPD that they found two shooting victims on S. Harrell’s Ferry Rd. Both said they had been shot at the Circle K on College Dr. and EBRSO said they did find the scene at the Circle K. BRPD responded back to the Circle K and the two shooting victims were already taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

So BRPD just didn’t try?

I’m at the point where I think all convenience stores should be moved out of the city.

Hopefully the deputies made sure to point out to the city cops of their minor mistake.

From what I gather, that is their standing order.

. There are 2 on College. The one closest to Perkins is actually a Perkins address so I assume it is the one closer to the Interstate.

Honestly I can’t be too critical. How hard would you be working to solve a shooting by a bunch of dirtbags at a hood arse Circle K. I side with the BRPD. I “wouldn’t see” anything either.

Does anyone have the statistics on what percent of murderers are convicted? It seems like in BR, if you kill a black person, there’s almost no chance of going to jail.

Problem at this point is that BRPD seems to be intentionally playing “blind referee” so they can act like there isn’t as much crime as there is.

After Alton, I wouldn’t be doing shite. The city hung these dudes out to dry. If I’m young enough, I’m either looking for another job or at least, moving to EBRSO. If I’m old enough, ride it out until retirement.

This is the result of piss poor leadership at every level of city management. useless mayor, useless police chief, useless city council, white loser DA, useless bureaucrats and civil service employees. EBR is worse than Haiti at this point with governmental incompetence

Sorry but the BRPD officers need to be fired. If they are doing that half arse of a job, I don't think they are earning their paycheck.

Especially if this turns out like that last time when the officer didn't even get out of her car at the shooting scene and reported nothing was found. A passer by found the dead body in the ditch a day later.
