I don’t get excited about a 2023 commit much less 2024.

Simply because he is not “committed.”

Even players on the roster are no longer committed. Especially QBs.

Regardless of what you think, this is a great barometer for the current state of the program & recruiting. None of the previous 3 regimes had the skins to really secure an OOS QB of this caliber

Not only is Kelly doing it, but it’s still so early for him. Great to see

Big name qbs are the least likely to flip. They become the leader of the Recruiting class and become invested immediately

Especially after they already flipped once

It's different with QB’s. They usually stick to build a class around them. This is big time news

I'd rather have him committed to us now rather than someone else and trying to flip him.

High level QB commits are a very different animal than any other position. Elite QB’s now want to be in the boat and shut recruiting down as early as possible and from everything on the backend, that is what’s happening here.

Glad he don’t have the same mindset you do because the 15 year old said he was already recruiting for LSU

In most cases I would agree, but I encourage you to read up on Hurley. This is exactly the kind of player we want in the boat as early as possible. His character is off the charts.
