Kids used to pick up cigs for their mom at convenience stores fairly often back in those days. Neighborhoods had families that lived in the same area for generations, shopkeepers would know.

Yeah, those things were everywhere, just not in our neighborhood. There were some Italian dealings going on there, I think.
