Albums by bands that are completely different from all their others

What are some albums where a band/singer went a complete different direction from their usual sound in a one off? Not a shift in their complete style but where they literally made an album that sounded nothing like their others?
I will go with “Howl” by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
The guy said I think I can make a gospel sounding acoustic-centric album. All there others are way more electric and heavier rock. It also is their best album.

I didn’t really enjoy them until I heard their country record. And they have that pirate record.
Not sure that’s what your going for so I’ll give you Neil Young’s Trans.
ETA: frankly Workingman’s Dead is a hard turn from what the Grateful Dead we’re releasing album wise when it came out. Compared to Anthem of the Sun and Aoxomoxoa.
I didn’t really enjoy them until I heard their country record. And they have that pirate record.
