Colonoscopy question

I have my first colonoscopy ever scheduled for 8:30 this morning. Is it customary to shave around the point of entry before going? About to hop in the shower and need to know.

Good luck, I almost died after my last scope.
They took out a couple of polyps, and cauterized the spots...one of the "scabs" came loose and I almost bleed to death. Had to have a 2nd emergency scope to fix it in the ICU. What really sucked is I was scheduled to fly out to Punta Cana that morning on an all-expenses-paid company reward trip.
