I kinda liked Canada for us. Obviously not 2019 level stuff, but we did some good things with him.
Not giving O credit for firing him, it was stupid of him to make the hire if he didn’t like/ understand the offense. Or the guy running it.

Yeah I think we could have done some good things with that offense if Canada wasn't such a raging a-hole and O such a raging idiot.
Funny enough, a lot of the drama was over Miles Brennan, so that rant saga went on with the coaches as far back as 2017

Canada uses a gimmick offense and while it's creative it's a little too crazy. It works at the college level but I don't think it will have staying power in the NFL for now.

only 2 passing TDs vs 6 ints. How much of that is on the OC vs the QBs, though?
6 total TDS if I am looking at the right stats.

That's the Matt Canada offense. In 2017 here's the grand total of receiving TDs by WRs:
Russell Gage: 3
DJ Chark: 3
Drake Davis:2
Stephen Sullivan: 1
Backs and TEs combined for another 8 that year.

His offense was far better than anything Miles put on the field and he was the first step in moving on from the Stone Age we were used to seeing. He was fired because he wasn’t a yes man and Orgeron has to be the Alpha in the room at all times. If the rumors were true, they were literally to the point of physically fighting. At that point, doesn’t matter how good or bad his offense is, the HC will fire you.
