How much of a rally will happen if this occurs?

Will the possible bounce be temporary?

It’s not gonna happen dude

Democrats gonna win everything. They don’t even have to campaign anymore now that everything is rigged up

They’re gonna bring back slavery but it’s gonna be folks like you and me picking taxes til we die

I'd expect the opposite effect. Currently White House has been in full on denial mode of any economic woes to keep numbers afloat for this election. If the Republicans win, expect doom and gloom messaging to blame the collapse on the Republicans and the sentiment to follow.

The markets generally love a split government. It's less likely that things only one party wants will actually get done.

said to say, but they are not taking the senate...they had it in their hands and played it like idiots...when you put the candidates they did in GA and PA, you are asking for trouble

Can a Republican Congress fix supply issues, lower energy prices, and stop a war in Ukraine? To me, those issues are far beyond what a legislative body can legislate, R or D. If there's a bump, it's only temporary and based on emotion and not facts.

Repubs take house and a split government brings more certainty that things will not change as much going forward.

Market will certainly rally; however it might just be a bear rally.

As long as the RNC takes the house I don’t see how it even matters if they take the senate economically.

Having the house slows down the Biden administration causing more harm, but having the senate doesn’t do anything but prevent judiciary appointments as Biden won’t sign anything they would pass.

It’s impossible to hide inflation. Even the price of crack has gone up.

Now are the Republicans going to cut spending and balance the budget? I doubt it.

Exactly. People love to point the finger at the libs for their spending but the GOP is NO DIFFERENT. There is no party with fiscal responsibility.

The game is over. Most just don't know it yet.

I just hope the government stops things like food stamps and the banks shut off credit to people that don’t deserve it

In many countries, the government helps the poor with food, but not the food they WANT, the food they NEED.

Rice, beans, fruits and vegetables.

If we just subsidized this for the poor I would have no problem with it.

Hot take here but Trump is the one who shut down the economy, approved stimulus checks, and gave out free PPP money.

I voted for the guy too but that’s one of the main reasons we’re in this mess.

I don't disagree, problem is Democrats were 100% on board with it. We yelled from the rooftops not to do any of that, politicians just didn't care. Trump screwed it up big, no doubt, shouldn't have given in for a temporary shutdown, Dems went all in on shutting their states and cities down for good once that happened.

Stimulus checks were really bad, but if he and congress doesn't approve, they all get voted out. Gov't forced people out of work, at some point, people have to have money to buy food and pay bills. It was a mess. Not shutting anything down was the best solution, but retards have the power, and other retards cheered them while shutting their states and cities down.

So yes, I agree Trump fricked that up.

The best way to get people out of poverty is to make them "uncomfortable" in their poverty.
