When I was a kid, I shook hands with George Wallace when he was stumping for Governor. While I was in college, I met Dr. Edward Teller, the father of the Hydrogen Bomb, the one Dr. Strangelove was patterned after. I don't remember if I shook his hand, but I spoke with him, and had my picture taken with him.

Shaq when he was still at LSU. I was in 6th grade. My parrain's father in law was friend's with Dale Brown and actually had a barbeque for the team after the season. Some of the team was swimming and some of them were in the pool room that had a pool table and Shaq and a few others were shooting pool.

Even then, I am in 6th grade and it was big deal to see these guys and Shaquille O'Neil was this larger than life guy, but then he had this sort of silly, welcoming personality that made you feel like you didn't have to be nervous. He seriously might be one of the most genuine celebrities out there.

There was a car show in the Super Dome in 2003 (or so). He was doing autographs/ photos (not sure what it had to do with the car show). I don't know where the photo is that I have with him, unfortunately.

Before the LSU - Miami game in 2018 I tailgated with Clinton Portis, Edgerrin James, and Ed Reed...they were just hanging out with some Miami fans near where we parked. They were the coolest group of people, so down to Earth and chatting with whoever came up to them about whatever you wanted to talk about.
