So if a movie with LGBQT subject matter isn’t interesting to a LOT of people then we’re homophobes.

My hatred for the woke Left is growing each day.

Basically this is the Bill Burr defense.

The "underserved" community that this film was designed to appeal to didnt go to see it, or they did and are just too small a group to make the film a success.

Therefore, its whitey's fault.

The critics score on rotten tomatoes was so good too. Guess no one looks at that anymore and would prefer to avoid paying to see movies that don’t appeal to them.

Perhaps people weren't interested in the plot?

Matt Walsh nails this one. He says it's basically a chick flick for queers. Straight men don't want to go see straight romantic comedies. Why would they want to go see a bunch of gays guys in a a gay movie?

BTW - apparently, there is the suggestion of orgies and threesomes in this abomination. You know, just like in any Diane Keaton movie.

It's just another example of "tolerance" (or silence) = "hate". It's not enough to simply say "I'm not gay...but I don't have an issue if you are." If one is not in full throated support of the "movement" then you are a "homophobe".

The lack of support for the movement is a shocking development for the Hollywood bubble. They truly don't understand that 95% (probably more) of the people in the US are NOT homosexual and don't feel some overwhelming desire to "support the movement". The movie's realistic market was a very small niche group...and now the producer is surprised that's all who wanted to see it.

I'm gonna make a movie specifically targeted at left handed Italians then yell at Chinese people for not going to see it and causing it to fail.

If creators want to sell their creation,

they need to create things that people will pay to consume.

Well he's kinda right. Most people are straight, most people don't want to watch a movie like that. If you make something for a small few then expect a small outcome.

Maybe virtue signalers don't care so much about virtue signaling when it costs them money.

These people are so far gone it's not worth even trying to bring them back down to reality. This dipshit made a move targeting less than 1% of the population then gets pissed when no one goes to see it. I'd love to live in their brain for just a day to see how it works.

Mine peaked about a year ago. Now I just laugh at them, because that's the only way to cope without catching bodies.

I'm done caring (and have been for awhile) if they call me names. They're irrelevant, just like Rotten Tomatoes and all the "critics" who are too afraid to be seen criticizing "Black Panther" and "The Woman King".

I watched the trailer, and it was peak cringe. Besides the boring meta type of plot (like when an author writes a book about an author writing a book, since that was on his mind), the squealing and phaggotry were nauseating. It seemed like a reboot of that "Fred" annoying Nickelodeon guy (surprise surprise he's gay) where he's out of the closet and taking speed.

frick that dude.

Done being civil with these loons. frick them.

I, and many others, do not care about watching this type of shite. If you have a problem with that, go frick yourself.

Hey Billy, in case you're wondering... it's along the tracks, not across the tracks. Good luck.

He is a failure in the industry just trying to throw someone under to Bus to find funding for his next abysmal project.

First of all

Even the best movies made never draw 10% of the population as viewers

Gear a movie to 1% of the population and if it was the greatest movie that could have Ben made your still limiting its viewers

Straight people don't want to see this shite just like straight people don't want to see those damned HIV meds commercials with their intentionally placed gay kissing. Sorry, just keeping it 100 here.

I don't fear homosexuals, therefore I'm not a "homophobe". I simply find their lifestyles repulsive.
