My parents both taught at a big 6A high school in Texas and we would go to all the football games. We sat with the same couple for about 10 years. Middle aged married couple with kids.
Me and the husband would always talk ball and shoot the shite.
About 5 years ago an article came out in the Dallas Morning News about a busted porn ring and he was featured on the front page. They found all kinds of sick shite.
He's now serving a 30 year sentence

Before y'all attempt destroy this man, it's good to remember the presumption of innocence, that is every person accused of any crime is considered innocent until proven guilty.

I've posted this before on here, but a good friend of mine worked for an older man who was a pillar of his community. Church, fundraisers, volunteering, money to organizations. While they were working for him he got busted in a child porn operation. What he said was something along the lines of "It started with an addiction to regular pornography. When that started failing to satisfy I kept searching for the next thing that would do it for me."
Obviously I am not excusing him for anything, but it's one of the dangers that people don't like to talk about of viewing pornography. How it can desensitize you to the point that you seek the next thrilling thing. And with the internet, it's very easy to find the next thing. Also, looks like these shits are getting caught now so maybe there's better surveillance now on at least the easiest ways to find it, so maybe that's another reason you're seeing it more.

I think the foundation's response is telling enough to realize these assumptions are probably true. Really sad, prayers for the kids, animals, and family/friends close to the victims.

Because its all over the place online and extremely easy to track. One of the few things the FBI actually does.
And when its just a lot of traffic they finally usually just pass it over to the juridiction where its an easy to get a deal hammered out fast because its hard to fight evidence. So everyone gets to move on faster.
FEDS only do massive massive cases.
