Our QB's didn't throw for 100yds in an entire game this past weekend. You have to score to beat Tennessee. They have every reason to be confident right now.

You seem confident! No way this offense scores 42 on TN. Not saying LSU can't win, but not at your predicted score.

PS - TN should be confident. They are top 10 team and favored on the road in Tiger Stadium.

Back when they were relevant years ago they rivaled FL in terms of a cocky delusional fan base with very limited football knowledge. I remember Mauck kicking their arse in the SEC championship game while they cried in the stands. Happened again a few years later when they came to Tiger stadium and took a beat down after talking all kinds of smack. They basically act like new money when it comes to athletics and hopefully we kick their arse Saturday.

By the evidence I've seen so far LSU is a total second half team on offense and the defense becomes fierce in the second half too. It takes LSU to long to get warmed up in their games, maybe longer warm up periods which might get their blood flowing faster. Looks to me Daniels has time to get rid of the ball but doesn't let it fly.

Why should they not be confident. LSU has no offense...at all which makes their lack of defense less of a problem.

Probably even more than Georgia in 2018.

Why aren’t they allowed to feel confident? Seeing as barely got by a terrible Auburn squad, why should LSU feel confident?

What exactly are you confused about?

Tenn is pretty good, have a GREAT offense and are ranked high.

They are "better" than LSU is at this point and are a year or two ahead of them. And its an 11AM game.

They should win. Doesn't mean they will and I think LSU is getting better and better.

I'm about 7 rows down and about 8 seats over towards the end zone in that pic.

Tennessee’s best win is a Pitt team who just got beat by a bad Georgia Tech team.

A 2-2 Florida team had 31 first downs and 594 total yards vs Tennessee.

Tennessee has one of the worst defenses in the SEC.

Not ideal, but how many times in football games do you hear in post game "if I would have told you __ happened, you would say no way they won the game." For example, Robby Ashford throwing for over 300 yards. Point being, everyone has a plan until the bullets start flying and there are a lot of ways to win a football game.

The unfortunate reality of Tiger Stadium, is that we have built up such an incredible reputation that people really want to go see games here. For us and the rest of the West + Florida, it's just another big game in TS. For Tennessee and UGA fans that only come here once a decade, they probably had this trip booked a year in advance.

It's the combination of the reputation Tiger Stadium has built and the fact that we are an hour away from one of the biggest tourist cities in the country. It is a must-make trip if you are a college football fan and you have a chance to see your team play here.

To be fair it is a new concept to LSU fans that seem to never be confident about anything on their team.

While that is not ideal, we were down 13-0 to State and rallied back.

We need to be resilient in this game. We can very well get down that big early. Tennessee is explosive. This team has shown me they will keep fighting and hold the line until they figure it out.

I don’t know if we’ll top this, but you bet we’ll have the 402-404 and upper decks full of orange.
