And to avoid a conflated gotcha: I will be upset if Russia uses nukes. It will make them an even bigger evil party than I could imagine.

Since we're on that topic, since Russia will always threaten using nukes, is there ever a legitimate reason to oppose any actions of Russia? North Korea? China? Iran?

Do people have to take sides here? I personally could care less if the evil dictator or the evil oligarch wins.

Every government is corrupt

Any international behavior I agree with or oppose will, by default, "simp for a corrupt government"

You’re a fool and lying to yourself if you believe this. You guys just don’t want to be on the same side of a conflict as Biden.

Other than the basic decision you'll have to make as to who is the aggressor nation, there will be different costs involved with different outcomes.

I will be sad/mad if Putin is assassinated

I want Putin to rule over a Russia devolving into the standard of living of the Congo

Why, do ignorant, far left whackjobs LIKE YOU continue to tell yourselves that conservatives give a f*ck about Russia, much less the Ukraine?

We hope they both fricking lose. What we don’t want is for the United States to keep giving what was once recognized as the most corrupt country in the f*cking world billions of dollars every f*cking week so that all of these U.S. politicians can continue to use the Ukraine as their own personal ATM.

I'm happy with sending money if it keeps US soldiers out of Ukraine, especially non-spec ops

I would be sad with how much it would cost the US if Russia's aggression is successful. That could destabilize the international order.

Are y'all happy with having to spend so much of the SPR to keep oil prices at a level that doesn't destroy our economy?

The oil costs alone of this war are almost assuredly larger than what we've sent Ukraine. Imagine that in perpetuity.

Are you OK with US citizens having to pay more than that just to avoid it being disbursed via government handouts?

It’s not an either/or. We don’t have to send money or troops to the most corrupt country on the f*cking planet.

I was pleasantly surprised how well Ukraine did in September. I’ve been saying for a few months now that October is when I think shite will hit the fan and if not definitely November. I really, really hope I’m wrong.

This

I just wish all these people saying "we should do something" would enlist in the Ukrainian Army and lend a hand instead of just talking
