I've had a pair of Costa Reeftons that I received as a gift and have had for awhile.

I seem to have misplaced them and am looking for some replacement sunglasses, I liked the Costas but they seem kind of overpriced, especially considering the warranty is kind of hit and miss now.

Any recs for other brands/styles I should try? I have a large head.

Maui Jim is the best lenses. Not frames, but definitely best lenses.

Eta: Stay away from Luxottica brands. They have shite customer service and warranties.

I’m horrible when it comes to taking care of glasses. I either lose them or break them with a sad regularity. I started buying Shady Rays and have been very happy with them.

I've been impressed with Shady Rays. You lose or damage them, they send you a new pair for free.

I have had the same pair of Ray Bans since 2006.. I think they are called Predator 2... The only thing is that when folded the tips have scratched the lens.. Not in my line of site..

Having had all the expensive brands go get Goodr sunglasses. I know Varsity Sports has them and you can buy 4 pair for what you pay for Maui Jim's I have and Goodr are just as good quality

Ive had costas, raybans and oakleys. The raybans are by far the best made, most sturdy frames of the 3. They probably arent the most durable but feel good on my face. Currently using oakleys as my prescription sunglasses to drive and they are good clear lenses.

Maui Jim and Persol have great lenses and really good quality.
Had no luck with Oakley or Rayban they don’t make them like they used to I guess.

Take a look at Bajio. I believe it is a company formed by Costa employees after they were bought out. I think it is a Florida based company and the glasses are made in the U.S., but I haven't verified that as fact. I've heard good things about them and will probably switch to them for my next glasses.
