Injuries are creeping in onto starters! Granted most of them are characterized as minor, we are seeing them. I was hoping we wont see any until after Tennessee to have a higher chance of 9 3 ceiling. Time to grade the backups...still believe 9 3 is achievable.

Every team has injuries at this point in the season. You just have to play through them.

It's called football.

Except when they’re severe enough to force you to miss time and/or are lingering enough to cause a a sever drop in production.

Every team in the SEC is dealing with this. Like the poster above said it's called football.

You wanted half the season with no injuries? That’s just not realistic.

Our roster is stronger now with exception to Smith than it was a start of season.

Every team will be missing their most productive running back for their first conference road game?

Sure, every team has injuries but it’s short sided to act like the impact to every team is the same. That’s just not the case.

Sure, play through pain. Next man up. You’re never as healthy as you are day 1 of camp. Yeah yeah yeah.

But in reality, the impact from playing hurt to injuries can and does differ from week to week and team to team.

Injuries are a part of football it's the next man up. Are you trying to cry about injuries for LSU? Imagine being a Texas fan and missing your star QB. It could be a lot worse.

Where am I crying? It's a realistic and factual approach and understanding that injuries are not the same for every week or for every team.

Thats it...thats the fact. There's nothing more. I am not trying to say anything else.

Bryce Young is questionable for this weekend, Auburn is without their starting QB and back up, Georgia has 10 players on the questionable/out list. Injuries aren't disproportionately shifted towards us.

9-3 is not and was not ever this team’s ceiling

This is a 8-4/7-5 team

This happens every year, it is why quality depth is so important. Kelly did a phenomenal job of bringing in talent to compete right away, but it will take a few years to build a quality stable of backups. Some positions are deeper than others, but it is bound to happen. Time to see who steps up.

None of our running backs have separated themselves, imo. They all are about the same, so I don't consider any of them "the guy"

Still don't want to lose anyone, but this is not the same as losing your starter.
