If you have Verizon, it won’t be an issue. I have Verizon, and can text, make phone calls, and browse TD when I’m at the game. You probably have AT&T

I have Verizon and my service is lousy. Wonder why?

If the damn jumbo trons would actually show the replays of questionable calls or even ESPN’s replay wouldn’t need to look at my phone. But with crappy service, you can’t even watch it till later.

It would be nice to watch the LSU TV feed whether by phone or on jumbo trons.

Verizon was awesome for me the whole game. I even brought up my YouTube tv to watch some of the replays we weren't shown on the jumbotron

Do other major stadiums have service in stadium? I suspect that is one of the reasons why many people leave early.

Put your damn phone down for 3 1/2 hours. Pitiful.

Yeah I’m 100% with the ppl need to get off their phones crowd but I also bet on several games and like to check scores during tv timeouts and halftime stuff. I don’t see an issue with that. I do notice while I’m there that 4 out of 5 ppl seem to be on their phone more than not.

LSU needs a Lafayette based company InfoLink to help them improve all cell and data service within Tiger Stadium. InfoLink recently increased the wifi/cell capabilities at Vaught-Hemingway in Oxford . My nephew who attends Ole Piss say its amazing how fast the internet works in the stadium...even to the point where 30,000 people could simultaneously be using the system a very high speed.

AT&T is doing a sizable upgrade to their system in the stadium. Sooner or later 5G C-band will be deployed too which will help both AT&T and Verizon users.

Stadiums, arenas, airports and most other large venues have “deconstructed cell towers” called distributed antenna systems to provide cellular coverage. Tiger stadium literally has a cell tower built on top of the stadium that covers portions of the campus and still has a DAS for the stadium itself.

Why do you need WiFi while you’re in a stadium? You’re there to watch a game not be on your phone. You’ll be just fine putting phone down for a few hours.

Tell me you’ve never bet on sports without telling me you’ve never bet on sports.

Wrong! Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile all share the same distributed antenna system in the stadium. Verizon does not have more antennas than either of the other two carriers. It’s all about the amount of bandwidth each carrier has in the market and which frequency bands they are deploying. AT&T is working to upgrade their equipment which will improve their system performance within the next few weeks.

Yea I wish the Jumbotron was now useful. I usually want to look at the stats of players as the game is going but it’s impossible in the stadium

Yeah, Wi-Fi service sucks. But remember, you’re on game day, Tiger Stadium becomes basically the 4th largest city in the state. Put 90,000+ people in one building and literally everyone is on their phone all game long…Wi-Fi is going to suck. Again, I come for the game, not to look at social media.

I always have signal issues (AT&T) in The Swamp at UF Games. Some sort of "jort-curcuit!"
