Software engineers from big tech firms are paying at least $75,000 to get 3 in taller

A Las Vegas cosmetic surgeon who specializes in leg-lengthening procedures that can extend people's height by 3 to 6 inches told GQ magazine that many of his patients are tech workers.
Kevin Debiparshad founded LimbplastX Institute in 2016, and the clinic's business has boomed during the pandemic, he told GQ.
Here's how it works: The doctor breaks the patients' femurs, or thigh bones, and inserts metal nails into them that can be adjusted. The nails are extended a tiny bit every day for three months with a magnetic remote control, GQ reported.
It can take months to slowly lengthen the bones and for the legs to heal. One software engineer told GQ he spent the first three months after his surgery alone in his apartment and ordered delivery food during that time to go from 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9.
The procedure costs between $70,000 and $150,000, depending on whether the patient wants to grow 3, 4, 5, or 6 inches, GQ said.

No way this has any long term negatives
Also, solid job by the author on the editiorilized title.

The common denominator of Debiparshad's client base is that they're wealthy, but they vary by profession: GQ reported that he'd treated CEOs, actors, and finance employees. And a bevy of high-earning tech workers — mostly men but some women — have come to him for the procedure.

Sounds like Gattica - and sounds extremely painful. I'm surprised this is possible tbh

What does being tall buy you when you're a working adult and your basketball days are behind you?

If you’re at least 5’10” your height is not a negative (sorry to y’all Cajun manlets).

Can I get a remote control that lengthens other parts from 6-9”?

This will end up like the penile enlargement surgeries - all sorts of future problems.
One doctor would inject fat to make the penis thicker. The fat ended up migrating and the guys had grossly lumpy penises. The lengthening process, which involved cutting ligaments to extend the penis out, was also laden with bad side effects (including loss of erection).
"Hey, I have a fat 8 inch dick, though it is lumpy and I can't get it up."

Easy way for some OT ballers to reduce BMI.

I knew a guy in high school who was about 5 3 and he pulled in all kind of girls and "older" (at that time, that means not in h.s.) women.
He also had the shittiest car I've ever seen - a Vega with wide tires and a jacked up rear end. It had a small steering wheel.

Hellzzzz no. That surgery would suck with the rehab you would have to do

…
Why?
If you already have that kind of money, money is a bigger lure to getting what you want than three inches in height.
Three inches in length? That may be different.

OTers are all 6-4 and above so don't really need it.
