I joined the to help fill out our work league, just had our draft and my week 1 opponent has both Kamara and Thomas on his team.

I guess I'll be happy getting obliterated this week.

They both aren't going to go off. The offensive isn't going to go for 5 TDs. This will be a low scoring game.

I quit FF over a decade ago because I hated the luck factor. Do all this homework to draft, have the 1 or 2 top team in the draft, make the playoffs and lose in the first rd. After 10 years of that I quit. I bet on the games. Much better outcome for me.

Same exact reason I quit. Some team sneaks into the playoff and has some third string rb and no name wr go off

I've been playing FF since 2001.

and I even got in on the betting thing to.

I'm all about the wave of information. Granted all of it doesn't stick.

Obviously.

if it did, I'd be doing something else right now.

Fantasy football is all about matchups idc what players you have. Some players are a play no matter what but that's like 5 players in the league like that and it changes from year to year. Gotta pay attention

So you root for your team to do better and the other players on his team to have bad games.

It’s not rocket science.

I actually like when it falls like that. Either the Saints win or you win in fantasy, which softens the blow a little. I would always root for the Saints to win and for those players to do great, but if it doesn’t happen, at least some good comes of it. I generally try to never draft Saints players because if both happen, it doubly sucks. Of course, if the value is to great, I will still take them in the draft. But I’ll happily take an 0-14 fantasy season for a Saints playoff.

I played fantasy football twice in my life. Both times I had the highest scoring team in the league. Both times I didn't even finish top 5.

Literally every time my opponent had some Rando go for the game of their lives to beat me by one.

Sorry for staying active on waivers all season and acquiring guys that got hot at the right time instead of resting on the laurels of “having a good draft.”

Edit: typo

Which is why I no longer play. If you have the top scoring team, you should be handed the trophy because you had the best team. The BS of head 2 head luck ruined it for me. Some guy cant draft worth a shite and has first pick in waivers every week so he fields random players that keep popping off. frick FF. Waste of time. I only played in money leagues. Those free leagues didnt interest me. And losing first rd of the playoffs too many times I had enough. I never won the SB once. I had the top 1 or 2 scoring team in the league every single year. Sometimes by a large margin. Ill never play it again.
