The comment section cracks me up

quote:

Zach Calzada replaced Haynes King after his injury last season. King just beat out Max Johnson, who took over the QB job from T.J. Finley at LSU in 2020.

Now Calzada still seems to be firmly behind Finley and Robby Ashford in Auburn’s QB competition.

A) I don't know what to do with my hands.

B) I also don't know what to do with this news because it is completely expected.

C) I wish we had gotten Haynes King. It will be a bumpy road but I think he'll be quite a good one. Not that I'm wanting that to happen to an Aggie... just being honest.

Who thinks Jake follows Max when he transfers again, this time to somewhere like UT-Chattanooga or Georgia State? Because that’s about the only level of competition he’s going to start for.

Max should have stayed at LSU. If he had, he would have likely been the leader in the clubhouse due to his starting experience and Kelly likely would not have gone after Daniels in the portal. Max shot himself in the foot. The grass isn't always greener...
