I watched the first episode of Welcome to Wrexham last night. Anyone know how I can watch their matches live here in the US?

Look for IPTV streams of BT Sports.

Watched the first 2 episodes!
I'll be pulling for them this season for sure. Good show so far.

Crazy to see Yeovil Town at the bottom of the 5th tier. They were in the Championship in 2014.

I had the exact same thought when I looked at the table. Was surprised how many recognizable names there were in the league

Playing the Dorking Wanderers today.
I can only imagine what they will do with that name on the doc.

I’m usually against American ownership but I admit I’m pulling hard for Wrexham. RR and Rob Mcelhenney are two genuinely good dudes.

Not sure what this means but I assume you mean RR. Yes I am aware. Close enough.

Disagree. I've watched them all and it's pretty underwhelming and overly dramatic. I would probably be more interested had I not looked up how Wrexham did last year

I think it has a ton of potential to be on the air for a long time and following them (hopefully) through the lower tiers of the pyramid
They’ve gotta get promoted this season though if it’ll maintain interest

I don't really keep up with soccer, but the doc got me interested. Wrexham won on Saturday to put themselves at the top of the league. They play the 2nd place team tomorrow. I believe they have the highest payroll in their league. They're fighting with the league right now to be able to stream games and were willing to split revenue amongst all the teams in the league but were still shot down. It's possible their games are streamed in the second half of the year.
Their merch revenue is up 600% since the doc started airing. All of the money made off the doc is going back into the club.
They just got their FA cup draw for the 4th qualifying round on October 15th. They're playing at Blythe Spartans, a 6th level team in the National League North.

On the entertainment side, they have amazing chemistry and play off of each other so well. Someone needs to cast them in a comedy asap.

I was curious if that’s what they would do with the proceeds.

Wrexham lost Tuesday and are now 2nd in their league. News is hitting today that ESPN is going to stream their FA Cup game on 10/15. I believe it's a 7am central start that day but I'm not 100% sure. This will be the first time US fans will be able to watch since the doc launched.
It's pretty much just cross promotion by Disney.
