Yet dems think that tax cuts won't do the same.
Explain that.

thought he was on a crusade against inflation, yet we are back to free money in election season
Got to love it

If that was the case then we'd be seeing a boom since they suspended the payments

It's a straw man argument. What these idiots that are praising this move don't realize is that it will further devalue the dollar and take people's money away due to taxes.

Yeah those that couldn’t afford $100 monthly payments for their loan are really gonna get this thing jumpstarted back
Gimme a break

What he's not telling you is that it's gonna be considered taxable income.

Emotional appeals to voters are not required to make fiscal sense.

And a trillion to special interests with tax increases to the middle and upper middle class in the "fight inflation" bill

Are loan payments still deferred? If so, down the road maybe it allows more money in the system rather than repaying loans, but for now no new money is going anywhere but toward tuition and whatever new student loans are buying.

And they played it beautifully.
They sold this for the 2020 election, sat on their asses for 2.5 years and then BOOM it's back.

If student loan forgiveness will strengthen the economy he should just forgive all of it. But he doesn’t believe what he selling here.

It’s so irresponsible that I’m actually somewhat shocked he still went thru with it. And I know the BS they are capable of yet I still can’t believe it. They are the absolute worst and I can only try not to think about it. Everything is an emergency so all logic and level headedness is out the door. And when you consider how political the motives are it almost becomes unbearable. I’m waiting for the GOP to give us something to feel good about but honestly I don’t even know what that could be right now.

The entire Democrat agenda is the transfer of wealth from working people to non-working people
