definition
don't like this definition much though.
I think most of us here are based on the first descriptions.
quote:
a supporter of a political and social philosophy that promotes individual rights, civil liberties, democracy, and free enterprise.
quote:
willing to respect or accept behavior or opinions different from one's own; open to new ideas.
don't like this definition much though.
quote:
a supporter of policies that are socially progressive and promote social welfare.
I think most of us here are based on the first descriptions.

Do you riot if you don't get what you want?
You're a liberal or Trump Patriot

Liberals have been lying about who they are and what they believe for a long time.
In fact, that's really one of the main defining qualities. "a supporter who does not admit his or her beliefs because intellectually, he/she cannot defend it."

Other than, admittedly...THE WORST DAY IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICA AND A CLEAR ATTACK ON OUR SACRED DEMOCRACY...are there any other riots you can point to shortly after Trump losing the election? Were there months of fiery riots across America which decimated sections of cities? did the Right take over multiple city blocks and begin running at as a Right Wing autonomous zone? Or maybe some riots after the raid on Trump's home?
I ask, because giant protests and riots seem to happen at the drop of a hat with The Left, so I'm curious.

I'm proud to be a classic liberal. Per Wiki...
quote:
Classical liberalism is a political ideology and a branch of liberalism that advocates free market and laissez-faire economics; civil liberties under the rule of law with an emphasis on limited government, economic freedom, political freedom and freedom of speech. It was developed in the early 19th century, building on ideas from the previous century as a response to urbanization and to the Industrial Revolution in Europe and North America.

Beat me to it on the classical liberal part. I operate somewhere among classical liberalism, libertarianism, and conservatism.

There are little to no liberals left in the Democrat Party most are leftists. Honestly Trump is a JFK Democrat ,but they have swung so far left they believe he is "literally Hitler".

Give us examples of "Trump Patriots" rioting? And don't give the one example you want to throw out, because 1/6 was goaded on and catalyzed by feds and anqueefers. So, minus 1/6, what have you got?
Chicago, Portland (CHAZ/CHOP), Kenosha, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Atlanta, Kansas City, L.A., Louisville, Baltimore, etc... that was all Trumpers, right? The NOLA riots, Dallas cop killing riots, those were Trump Patriots too?

Funny. They're still portraying themselves as the Blue Dogs of old. Yet, they are squarely flag planted in #3 and have thrown caution to the wind since Black Jesus on the first 2.

They are opposite of everything they claim.

classic liberals have nothing in common with leftists
Liberal is another word that has become useless, like 'woman'.

Liberal does not mean what it use to. Today it means a pervert that hates his country, God, the Constitution, liberty, and all that is decent.

Big difference between liberals and leftists

Most of Trump supporters are not traditional conservatives.
They’re traditional classical liberals that have adopted a populist nationalist view on trade and immigration.
