I doubt anyone of those is getting 348 miles to a tank.
Not to mention I’m still driving while you’re stuck in a charging station

Aston Martin Valhalla is my favorite of those easily. Sleek and sophisticated but obviously packs a punch. Still has some of the Aston Martin signatures built in. Not nearly as gaudy or obnoxious looking as some of the others, but still clearly an exotic that will turn heads

It's a universal speed Stat in use for decades.
Is really 0-100km which is 62mph.

In between track sessions, the two would drive to the nearest Tesla Supercharger about 25 minutes from VIR, spend another 40 minutes getting a full charge, and then drive back, all the while discussing different strategies to take down the Taycan.
To ppl that think we’re brainwashed because ppl say EVs suck are sadly mistaken. With all the faults of internal combustion come the fruits. Working with your hands to build something then the ability to hear it come to life. Not a stupid lithium battery with 4 wheels attached you have to remember to plug-in like your damn phone.
Also, the interiors of Tesla’s are absolutely JOKES, plastic panels everywhere, zero creativity. Some car manufacturers don’t know how to keep things simple but Tesla went too far in this direction

So long as your daily schedule is such that allows a Tesla to be practical.
quote:You mean like you glossed over the rest of my post that you would have seen covered this for the typical family/household?
Unforeseen changes to your schedule that make a Tesla impractical? Never discussed. Just like any other negative side to driving an EV: Glossed over or never discussed

The tesla is only practical for daily use.

For most people, witg all things considered, having that tesla is not practical.
These 2 statements are contradict each other
A typical family owns 2 cars and 1 is your daily commuter, which means a Tesla is practical for a great many people.
Not a contradiction. Most people don't have one vehicle dedicated just for a daily commute. That would mean I would need a second vehicle for non daily commute things. It is more practical to just have one vehicle that can do it all, for most people. If EVs were cheap, or there was a decent EV truck, maybe more people would have them. Who cares though, some people prefer ICE, some prefer an EV. Why is it always turned into some competition in these threads? Why not always have and continue to improve on both options?

it also requires 110 octane fuel, so good luck finding that on your road trip

Playstation vs Xbox
Apple vs Microsoft
Apple vs Samsung
The saga of the stupid continues.

I doubt that's the case
How can it not be the case? It takes me five minutes to pump over 30 gallons of fuel in my F-150. In a highway setting I can get over 600 miles on one tank.
Compare that to the new Lightning. 350 mile range (if you're lucky and takes multiple hours to charge, overnight depending on the charging situation. I could beat the EV by a week.

Just punched into Tesla "go anywhere" planner a trip I am going to take soon.
Tesla Model 3 long range,
Pensacola, FL, USA to Fayetteville, AR, USA
Pensacola, FL, USA
Hattiesburg, MS 10 min charge
Pearl, MS 25 min charge
Monroe, LA 45 min charge
Little Rock, AR 30 min charge
Ozark, AR 10 min charge
Fayetteville, AR, USA
Duration: 14 h (744 mi)
I just used the website for A Better Route Planner:
3 charge stops total:
- Vicksburg, MS - 25 minutes
- Little Rock, AR - 17 minutes
- Ozark, AR - 7 minutes
If you have a wife and couple of kids making a trip that long, you are stopping at a minimum of probably 30 minutes even in an ICE vehicle. This is 49 minutes.

How many of the others catch on fire while you're driving them?

Basura Blanco's 78 yr old Dad's 2018 Dodge Challenger 392 Shaker ($31,000)
4.2 seconds (Currently at 54,000 miles on original charge)
And for the record, I would drop $75K tomorrow on a Tesla with 2/3 the power of a Plaid if it had a 500 mile range, a 80% charge time of 15 minutes and a 100K mile warranty on the battery(s).

Why is it always turned into some competition in these threads?
