I got priced out. I'd sit in and play at $5 a hand. I wasn't wasting my money at $15.
Leave that crap to the professionals, rich and stupid.

I'm not an OT baller.
If there's a $15 table, I'm in, but those aren't too common.
$25 per hand is he most I'm willing to go.
I'm down to play with $300 and hopefully have a good time for 4-6 hours drinking and bullshitting with strangers.

Y'all like your money a whole lot less than I do. $25/hand. LOL.

LeRn the game of craps. It’s easy, if the table mini is $10, place on the 6 or 8 and if you catch a couple long rolls you can stretch it a bit and have a good time. You can also toss a dollar on a hard way and just hang out.

I went to Vegas a month before covid hit in 2020 and nothing on the strip had tables under 15 a hand but downtown had ones cheaper
NYNY always has had 5 dollar tables back to at least 2017

Keep an eye on the payouts. Lots of small stakes tables pay 6:5 these days instead of 3:2 on a blackjack.

$10,000,000 a hand at the table I play at.

Earlier this year in Vegas I found this casino that looked straight out of Vegas Vacation that had $3 blackjack. I was down until i noticed the vomit stains and cigarette burns on the tables cloth. The Poker Palace
Saw $10 tables last month at Margaritaville on a Sunday morning.
All depends on the casino, day, and time.

You can usually find tables with a $5 or $10 minimum
That's where you find the soccer mom on her first trip to a casino tanked on cheap zinfandel and hitting a 14 when the dealer is showing a 6. Inherently she'll pull the 7, the dealer pulls a 4 and your split 8s, that your doubled on, get raked.

$3 blackjack
Back in the early 1990’s, we used to go to the Bayou Caddy casino just across the MS state line from LA. It had $2 blackjack during the day and you could go there and learn basic strategy and advantage play with hardly any exposure. They had the worst dealers who would expose their hole card to first base when they peeked. The facility itself wasn’t bad and they had a Lucky Dog cart outside.
At night, it would become a more respectable place. A guy at my table played a couple of hands of $1000 per hand. He was a regular and announced his intention to the pit because they would make him step his bet up incrementally from$25 to $100 to $500 or whatever instead of going straight to $1000. Everyone pulled their money off the table so the guy could only blame himself if he won. I don’t remember the outcome - sorry.
The other place we’d go was the Copa. Absolute dump converted from an old cruise ship. Low minimums, bad dealers, lots of fun…maybe a little borderline rule bending…
The third casino in this terrible trio was The President, the steamship that used to do concert cruises in New Orleans. Cramped, smoky, and loud drunks. Heaven.

$10 at nearly all of them. I miss the $3 tables at the Sahara on the Vegas strip!

Don’t go. Find another form of entertainment.

Fun note. A friend of mine that was a black jack dealer at treasure chest spent 5 hours one night teaching me how to count cards. I still can’t remember a thing he taught me.

C'mon, man...don't be crapping on one of the jewels of North Las Vegas.
