I had to cover for a driver who covers that area and it was miserable. Traffic was terrible and everything is too close together. I couldn’t see myself living there. I know I complain about BR sometimes but when I got back to Baton Rouge, I was like

Kenner sucks, but Baton Rouge is far FAR worse than Metairie

Maybe some parts of Metairie. Definitely not others.

When I drive into BR I’m glad I don’t live there. Goes both ways

Metairie is a shithole. People won't acknowledge that, but it's truth. Big Lee's Old Metairie is mediocre at best.

Kenner is complete garbage. 20% of metarie is good. the proximity to downtown and uptown is its biggest plus obviously

My problem was driving around in a big truck not being real familiar with the area trying to make 40 stops. That was not fun lol.

I was passing through BR yesterday and decided to try Airline highway to avoid the interstate clusterfrick. I've not seen a bleaker, more dreary stretch of road in a long time.

I mean, does it even matter? All three places are depressing.

Kenner is awesome though. Our city hall is an old Macy's in a dead mall that didn't even have bathrooms. The city paid (not exaggerating) $60k a month to rent Macy's but an additional $78k a month to rent bathroom trailers.

Everyone wants to know who he is. Lol

He's not me. I'm not a government employee.
