Entergy destroyed my home's AC system

Baws.... I'm at my wit's end with Entergy
TLDR: Entergy keeps closing my service requests without testing anything leading to my AC being damaged beyond repair
About 2 months ago our lights started flickering anytime an appliance would kick on. I called my home electrician and he showed me that there were irregularities with the voltage coming into my home when a high amperage appliance was running. We cleared everything in my home on two separate occasions.
Home electrician recommended I call Entergy to test/replace the "Ground Transformer"
I have placed 5 service requests over the last 2 months with Entergy. Each time the request would be closed without anyone arriving on site.
Yesterday, I placed a new service request explaining my situation, begging for a call when they arrive, and telling them I believe my home is being damaged.
That was at 10am.
I woke up today to a loud electrical arcing sound and a bright blue light coming from my AC condenser. I immediately deenergized the breaker and panel. Turns out the bad voltage melted my contactor and burned out the compressor. Since it is an older unit I have to replace the entire condenser and coil with a new R22 system.
$7000
I checked my security cameras and found an Entergy technician arrived at my home at 11pm... walked up my driveway and then back into his truck leaving the scene. No testing occurred.
Has anyone fought Entergy to recoup damages? I am in serious need of how to get them to resolve the issue and compensate me for the damage to my property.
A friend suggested I go to the outside box (in my backyard) and literally shoot the transformer forcing them to replace it.
UPDATE:
Called Entergy again today. I kind of knew from the way the call went with the customer service rep that this time might turn out different. She was far more engaged, saw all of the history and apologized profusely throughout the call.
An hour later a technician arrived at the house. He too was fantastic. Within 3 minutes of testing he found a problem. He hooked up a device directly to the meter, the device applied a load on the circuit and measured voltages. One leg was 134V, the other 104V
Says he is going to office to pick up some supplies and testing equipment to troubleshoot the underground cable from the transformer to my meter.
fingercrossed the trouble is fixed and I can then pursue a claim for my damaged HVAC

I mean, I probably wouldn't do that.

Especially not since he posted it online.

I would call the local news station and and put public pressure on them

Keep receipts, take plenty of photos and videos, and get a lawyer.
Don’t sabotage anything on their end at this point, the damage is done

Be a shame if someone backed into the transformer at a good clip

I just assumed all houses built after 1996 had overloaded secondary panels feeding the condenser units, so lights flickered when the condenser kicked on.
I hate it with a passion.

Good advice here

You shouldn’t even have to do any of that. Call 2 on your side. Public needs to know how awful they are.

Have your AC guy write it up as damage due to power surge. Submit his written statement to your insurance company.

A couple years ago, I was having issues with Entergy's power coming into my home, just like you. Although, it did not matter if I was running any other appliances. There were "momentary power dips", if you will, where the lights would dim for a whole second, then return to full power. When this dip would happen, my AC compressor would cut off due to the low power, then try and come back on instantly against a load. As you could well imagine, it was frying my compressor, evidenced by the heinous buzzing sound.
I called Entergy non-stop. Every time it happened, I called them. I called them at 5pm, I called them at 2am, I called them on Sundays.
My compressor eventually locked up and had to be replaced. I kept on calling Entergy. They finally came out and installed a level meter, then upon checking it a week later, admitted their power supply was at fault. I filed a claim with them and was reimbursed in full for the cost of the compressor replacement.
I don't know if you'll have the same fortune, as it didn't sound like you've adequate evidence, but good luck to you. If you can prove it was their fault, you will have a case.

Happened to me a few years ago. If you don't have a separate surge protector on your home you are screwed. Their fine print requires a separate system in place between their line and your home.

See if your electrician has any contacts at Entergy. Problem is, that the transformer on the ground likely feeds 4 other houses. If no one else is having problems then its going to be hard to blame the transformer.
Does your video show the transformer?

Entergy has a claims process, go to their website and fillout a form

Could you please point out how I file a claim? I don't see it anywhere on their website
