Dude you do not add much content to the discussion with your unlimited pontificating. Is an RA justified for clutter?

I read a yahoo article where a former FBI employee said the FBI knew they only had one shot at Mar a Lago - and had to make it count.

He expected them to throw in crimes on the search warrant related to Insurrection and obstruction - basically anything they can nail him for on Jan 6, in addition to the records crime.

My question is, wouldn’t each of those require it’s own probable cause?

They also stated the “plain view” clause of searching - where if evidence of a crime is in plain view, they can seize it.

That's what I'm thinking, but in terms of dealing with Trump and his associates, nothing has been normal. What they did to Jeffrey Clark concerns me as well as Peter Navarro .What they did to Roger Stone was fricked up though for what was essentially a process crime.

Some of the shite they are pulling is generally reserved for OC baws like Gotti and Gravano.

Well, at least we know the FBI has never before lied on a warranty request, especially when it relates to Trump.

As president, that's about all he had to do.

The same idiots that run our government came up with this plot.

Of course it is going to strengthen Trump’s base and in the end weaken the Democrat’s. It was a terrible play by Trump’s opponents.

I'm sure this question has been asked but I haven't been able to see where it is in the original thread is so long, so if you knew the answer to this please indulge me. Can the paid representatives of someone be denied watching the search as it takes place? I know they are not allowed to interfere in a search but in the mar-a-lago search, the lawyers were not allowed to observe... Is that legal?

I do not handle criminal matters, and law school was a long time ago. Someone like BBond is much better suited to answer this question, but I will do the best I can.

An LEO agent executing a search warrant does not, to the best of my recollection, have the right to remove anyone who is in possession of the property during a search. For example, if you and your family were on vacation, but the cleaning lady was present when a search warrant was executed, she should be allowed to stay during the search

In this case, The question that I am trying to answer is whether someone who shows up in the middle of a search and claims to be an attorney for the property owner (with no proof of that status) can be excluded.

You won't volunteer your speculation apparently, but I will mine. Look how people started showing up outside the place as soon as it was announced. Perhaps - just maybe - he actually didn't want that kind of shitshow when it was happening.

I think Trump loves making a spectacle- it’s why ppl love his rallies- it’s a show.

I speculate that he waited bc he wanted a shocking martyr moment but that doesn’t sound like Trump so that’s why i asked…I’d naturally assume he would want a shitshow so why not at 9a when the Feds got there

Does this include planted evidence?

I was under the impression that the boxes in question arrived in Florida from the GSA in Jan 2022.
After the boxes arrived the National Archives informed team Trump about the potential that classified material was in the boxes.
National Archives inspected the boxes in Florida in June 2022 and determined some it needed to returned and Trump was working with them to make sure that happened.
Raid happens looking to siege boxes from Florida.

What I don’t get from the OP is why the need to raid?? National archives had already inspected the boxes and Trump was cooperating with them. This is a common occurrence as both Bush and Obama had issues with the National Archives at the end of their admin. So the FBI raided an ex president over some boxes that had already been inspected and were in the process of being returned??? They are worried about these boxes getting destroyed even tho they had been sitting in a basement since Jan 2022 and been inspected in June 2022??

None of this makes sense and there needs to be some serious explanations going on about what happened in the 8 weeks since June 2022 to August 2022.

People act like the democrats are some sort of master schemers but if you look back over the last 7 years everything they’ve done to try and hurt Trump has backfired.

This one obviously way earlier and more profoundly than any of the others. Mueller testifying comes in second.
