Don’t like it, then don’t go to a religious school. Plenty of other private schools out there that either aren’t affiliated with a religion or don’t have a strict morality code
How in the world is this the Christian thing to do? I’m as sick as anyone with all of the Trans bullshite and drag queens in elementary schools, but this is some small minded redneck bullshite.
I went to a Catholic high school many years ago and according to policy in the school handbook, you could be expelled if the administration became aware of students who were having premarital sex. As long as you didn’t brag to your buddies where the more up-tight teachers could overhear you.

Wait a minute...
Just read the article...
This girl was adopted by her familial Aunt? Oh frick this school.
Thread Title implied it was a same-sex couple adopting a Russian baby. But this is a girl who's family took her in and the school is doing this shite?
frick them. I'm sure the Aunt wasn't thrilled about sending her to this school, but was honoring the wishes of the girl's parents.
The people who run this school should not be in charge of teaching children anything, especially ethics and morals.
They say this:
But they take their disdain for the two adults out on the child.
Again: frick this school and the people who run it.

This should not be interpreted that we have any hatred or malice toward them. We are just as committed to loving all people as we are to holding to Bible principles that people may not agree with or may not understand,” the statement continues.

its easy, you either believe and follow the teachings of your faith or you are a fraud like the pope is
no matter how you feel about it, its a private school of Christian faith and they have rules

Agree, disagree, whatever. This is still kinda, sorta, barely America and a private school has this right.

I have a hard time with this one. I’ve had my experience with allowing leftist in my company. Never did I not regret it. Always an issue.
One of the main callings of Christianity is to be the light for others and introduce them to Christianity. This does not coincide with what we are told to do.

Stopping the problem before it starts. I see no problem

I would be interested if they boot kids with divorced parents or a child whose parents marries a person not on their first marriage. I fully understand the privileges with being a private institution... just curious
Edit- Or a child with a parent that is rumored to be involved in an extra marital affair or a parents that often has a few too many Bud Lights....as you can see it's a slippery slope.
He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

Glossed over in the article is the fact that it took this woman 2 years to adopt her orphaned niece.
The adoption system in this country is broken.

How in the world can someone actually open up and read the Bible and not see that lifestyle condemned as sin in scripture at some point, and why would the action by the school be un-Christian? The exact same thing can be said for two people living together outside of marriage. The Bible doesn’t conform to the Christian. The Christian conforms to the Bible.

There’s your problem. Probably did the girl a favor, at least she’ll be able to learn that evolution is a fact and that the fricking earth is a sphere.

maybe they are concerned about a potential MonkeyPox outbreak and this is a “safety precaution”?

A private school can adopt any policies they choose.
