I don't disagree completely that his stuff would look better against lesser competition. But he's already shown he can be dominant against the SEC (and in the CWS) at times. A lateral SEC move into a guaranteed starting role, whether LSU or not, just seems to make more sense.

We have 9 commits playing in the PDP league that starts today at the USA baseball complex. Should all be 2024 guys. I saw the list but didn't comb through it.

Games begin on Tuesday. They will have 2 games on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Off Friday. Then play 2 on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The 2 games on Monday will be the 3rd place game and the Championship game. All these games will be streamed on MLB.com and I think I read that the opening 2 games will be live on MLB Newtwork.

D2 slugger Jakob Christian is going to U San Diego.

seems like the highest probability of those higher tier recruits. Not sure how realistic it still is though

Yea, still early to tell. I'm sure it will take a lot to get him away from college ball. That said, he is good enough with his frame and athleticism to get picked in a spot where he will get money he just can't turn down. Would definitely have to be a Crews type situation for him or Curiel to make it on campus I think.

All 4 Top 100 overall (PG rankings) players we took signed pro deals
#103 overall Luke Leto didnt play last year and transferred out
#155 overall Grant Taylor played last year, injured this whole season
#161 Grant Fontenot was kicked off team after last year in which he didnt play anyways
#187 Connor Simon injury retirement
#213 Josh Pearson turned into a starter for us, struggled a bit more this year though
#332 Sam Dutton, basically a back end bullpen guy
#376 Anthony Priester, transferred out after redshirting
>#500 Josh Stevenson, transferring out after not playing much first 2 seasons
High follow Tripp Haddad, who knows whatever really happened there
Wow, this class just a total dud for most part
