Below is an article from the NY Post. CBS to get the 3:30pm game and NBC to get the primetime game and Fox has the noon game. CBS and NBC to both pay $350 million. With cord-cutting not being tied to cable for your top three games is a good thing in my opinion. Makes your tv set-up for tailgating much easier.

I do wish that the SEC in the future gets more OTA games.

They'll be unwatchable due to commercial load

It's always been surprising to me that NBC has locked themselves into Notre Dame and nothing else as far as CFB coverage.

Chuck Oliver was saying last week that NBC/Peacock wanted to fold Notre Dame into the primetime Big Ten package. Choosing between Notre Dame and whatever the second best Big Ten game is would be a pretty appealing for the major East Coast, Midwest and Southern California markets.

A piece of me is going to die when the GOAT college football theme song comes on followed up by Nessler trying to hype up a Iowa vs Minnesota snoozefest

Wonder if this helps or hurts ND semi-independence. NBC is happy to bumper ND with the B1G and makes ND more viable as a stand-alone deal or does this put more pressure on ND to join the B1G given that the money would be much bigger for a B1G with ND and UCLA, and USC.

No more a snooze fest than Arkansas v. Miss State.

It's so weird SEc isn't on CBS. Even more weird to hear the CBS 2:30 theme song for Big 10 now

I think it's kind of a best of both worlds deal for Notre Dame if NBC ponies up to use them with the Big Ten. You stay independent, continue to get money and you can piggyback off the exposure that the Big Ten is getting (they'll be promoting next week's Notre Dame-Florida State game during Penn State-USC). On the other hand, it may get to the point where Notre Dame may feel like they ought to go all the way, since they'll be halfway in bed with the Big 10.

I wish CBS would get a new music theme. That one is so synonymous with the SEC now. Rebrand and start anew.

Per a quick google search, that fixture has had the 3:30 CBS slot exactly once in the 30 years since Arkansas joined the SEC

ND is a bunch of wussies, plain and simple. Get in the B1G, get saddled up with a division that has Iowa and Wisky, schedule your service academy games in the non-conference week.

The SEC is a huge loser in all this. We’re stuck with ESPN only. Terrible.
