Length of sentence sounds long, but it's probably about the same as possessing hash in Louisiana, Mississippi or Texas in the 70s.

She most definitely wouldn’t have a problem with a straight, white, conservative male being locked up

Don’t you get tired sometimes of tossing this word around? Almost like you do it without thinking? Almost like you were trained?

Wait hold the frick up. Are you trying to say there aren't racists on this site and that I'm wrong for calling them out?

I’m saying that people like you toss that word around like it is some kind of magic talisman in the hope that it will silence people who have a different opinion about a given topic.

Are you a lying sack of shite in all facets of your life or just here? You can easily check my post history to verify what you just said isn’t true. You’ve got me confused with someone else there, little fella.

This post is absolute shite on it's face.

Nobody expects calling it out to do anything.

Why does Putin/Russia even care about the arms dealer?

Because he's a Russian doing 25 years in an American prison for arming one faction in a multi-pronged civil war, when our own government had been arming the other sides for years. In reality, most of Putin's supporters probably don't like Bout. He openly supplied Bosnian Muslims with weapons in their war for independence against the Serbs. Traditionalist Russians are usually rabidly pro-Serb, as they represent the largest Eastern Orthodox demographic in the Balkans.

This happens everyday to everyday foreigners. Shite we did it for 50 years in the States with our war on drugs. I mean people in the US got 20 years for weed.

What makes Griner so fricking special?

Ok, so 9.5 years in a Russian prison sounds like an astonishingly stupid of stupid prizes.

But will this dude be sent to a male or female prison? The answer may change the way the prisoner views those 9.5 years. On one hand, it could be tortuous hell.

On the other hand, which will probably be buried in some big-hoss Russian chick’s arse, it might be paradise.

No you're not.

When your political dissonance becomes too much to bear you have to pivot somewhere.

She brought it on herself. frick her.

If you said this strictly because she fricked up in a foreign country, I would agree with you. She fricked up. Her fault. Deal with the consequences.

But what I don’t understand are the people are say “frick her” and “let her rot” because she doesn’t share the same political philosophy as they do.

Yep. They can cry racism or whatever but the plain truth is she broke the law over there and now she's facing the consequences. End of story.

She bought the ticket, now she's got to take the ride

You can't say things are bad at home if things are potentially worse elsewhere. We all know this.

It is pretty jarring to complain of America being racist and oppressive when the literal President of the United States is doing more to try to rescue a black basketball player from the entirely foreseeable and justified consequences of her own actions than he ever would for hundreds of millions of law-abiding white citizens.
