What will it take for the people to trust the voting process again?

The last measurement was that 83% of the voters no longer Trust the process.
Let's just move that down to 50%. Half the nation no longer has the confidence in what is happening. Let's talk solutions.
1- Paper ballots. Ok... How do you count them effectively and efficiently? Lay that out.
2- Signature verification with finger print. How do you determine if not by machine? Maybe scan your finger print and you get your ballot on match. or by signature? Lay that out.
3- Allow for an election celebration. Friday-Sunday is a national holiday? Must vote in person. How to reduce the wait times? Maybe:
Friday- Names ending from A-P
Saturday- Q - Z
Sunday- Make up day.

Complete transparency of the vote counting and election officials. It’s not the illegal voting that’s killing us, it’s the crooked counters and those overseeing voting.

You must have proof of who you are and that you belong here. Paper ballots. If you have to make precincts smaller, do it. No more hanging chad crap. If the machine kicks it out, look for the obvious. If you’re too stupid to fill out a paper ballot, you’re too stupid to vote. Absentee voting should be difficult to do, you should have a valid reason. You have a couple of days to vote, period.
Throw out all of the other made up crap.

The system must be fully auditable and transparent.

Unfortunately, it is increasingly looking like we are past the point that it matters.

Idiot Democrats never winning any race ever again.

Cut down on the universe of persons who are eligible to vote.

5 consecutive terms of a strong conservative president.....and that is almost impossible.

You have to have single day voting and the process has to be run by volunteers (representatives from both parties at each precinct), not beurocrats.
I have worked elections, and when it's done correctly, it is nearly impossible to have any wide scale fraud. And it really isn't that big of a deal.
Unfortunately the other side simply doesn't want things to be fair and transparent. It's somehow an "attack on democracy"

doesn't matter - that is the only answer.

Paper ballots with all of the security features of a $100 bill is a place to start. Banks electronically counting money spot a counterfeit right away.

Start with everyone purging their voter rolls.

Everyone votes the way I have to vote. In person. Name in the register. Show ID. Sign register.

Severe felonies for poll workers cheating and for conspiracy to cheat.
Pull the curtain back on 2020 and parade them out so that we may see them.

First thing is to eliminate harvesting. It's going to "disenfranchise" some, but vote security has to be paramount. With that, absentee ballots should be restricted to members of the military and those working overseas on election day (as verified by their employer).
Anyone else? It's your responsibility to legally submit your vote. As part of the balance for this I would rather see Election Day as a national holiday where ALL businesses are urged to close for the day. If it becomes so popular that some places cannot get their voter lines handled within that day, those places stay open until all votes are cast (ie: no lines). Those places would then get an extra day prior to Election Day in the next cycle.
Ballots should be submitted via paper ballot. These are far easier to count and harder to play electronic games with. Any ballots where someone made a mistake (checked two candidates in the same race, for example) are considered void. If someone can't fill out a fricking ballot correctly, they don't deserve to have their vote counted (as part of the balance on this, ballots should be very intuitive to understand).
That's it. Do that and while continuing to have both parties overseeing ballot counting in each precinct and you remove the majority of potential for shenanigans.
Also, anyone caught purposely attempting to defraud the process loses their voting rights for life.

Probably about as long as it takes to regain the trust in a spouse who has been caught having an affair.

So far I have seen zero changes in voting security to make me think it’s going to be a fair and honest election. Zero.

We have defeat the reseat/takeover.
We haven’t had fair elections in decades. We’ll never have elections if they fulfill their current mission.

no more electronic voting, paper ballots omly on mechanical voting machines and all elections will end and be over on the same day votes are cast, so by 7am the morning after election, the full votes tally is certified and official, not the current system of printing ballots after the election to make the guy you want win. this week long process of we will get back to you in a few days and we may know then who won is BS.
also we need to see about 50-60 very high ranking officials and politicians in every state, not just arrested, but actually convicted and put in jail for several years for voter fraud. and you must show a picture ID and have proof of citizenship in order to cast a vote
if all that happens, then and only then, can any honest person begin to think that maybe the cheating has been stopped and our votes actually matter.
