Dude has a shite attitude. I think he actually came around for the Jazz last year though.

He's got what we need, IMO. Long, athletic, dunker and he can make his FTs.

I'd say no, but if it were the right price, hell yeah.

I doubt he’s going to get more than the minimum (if he even gets that), but still No.

I always liked him as a player. If you can get him for the min for the 2nd team I would. Doubt he takes it though.

I still feel like this team is living unnecessarily dangerously without a true backup to Jonas. But still, I would not want Whiteside.

Things is, god forbid, if JV does go down, looks like someone like Whiteside will be available to scoop up. As of right now the following are still available: Whiteside, Howard, Cousins, Harrell, Aldridge.

As long as it isn't season ending, bunch of vet guys that are probably gonna be hanging around looking for calls that can spot fill 15-20 minutes for a few weeks.

He used to be a solid player but right after Miami paid him he got bad at defense. People often confuse blocks with good defense and Whiteside is a good example. He’s not a bad backup but I’d rather give the roster spot to Summer league/G league guy then Whiteside. That’s just my opinion for this young team. If he were like older Tyson Chandler and could help with the team culture then yes but this guy is not that guy.

Block champ who doesn’t protect the rim.

Lester would be thrilled.

I’ve asked for this for years. Why don’t the Pelicans see this great marketing opportunity?

I would buy an OG pierre shirt immediately.

Not 100% sure where all the attitude posts are coming from? If someone can direct me to something, I’d appreciate it.

I’ve followed the guy on Social Media for awhile. He’s one of the more entertaining follows in sports. Very funny, happy go lucky guy, always talking to his fish “The OG’s”, etc.

I could see maybe a bit of a seriousness or maturity issue. But then again, he’s always putting in basketball and weightlifting workouts in on Social Media too, so it’s not like he’s lazy.

Maybe it’s coming from his time in Miami? I will admit he doesn’t seem like he fits “Heat Culture”, but to be completely honest, he’d 1000% fit in personality wise with the guys we have on this team. Unless I am just completely missing something…

I think Whiteside might be done at this point, but we could do a lot worse.
