What do you all carry for a basic tool kit that fits under the rear seat of your truck? My truck has a two compartment storage area under the rear seat, I'm putting together a tool kit of basic tools and wondering if I forget anything.
I want this all to fit in a canvas tool bag like this:
Right now this is what's in it
1/4" Bit Ratcheting Screwdriver set with a wide variety of bits both metric and SAE
Pair of Klien Needlenose pliers
Pair of Knipex 10" Cobra Grips
Pair of Klien Wire Cutters
Pair of Vise Grips
12" Crescent Wrench
3/8" ratchet and a full set of Metric and SAE sockets on rails
1/2" ratchet and a full set of Metric and SAE sockets on rails
1/2" Lug Nut Socket
Hammer
ODB2 Reader
Multi Meter
Electricians tape
Small roll of duct tape
Roll of repair tape https://www.amazon.com/Rescue-Tape-RT01019-BRK-RT1000201201USCO/dp/B00AEBKYPG/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1I0HKEVNECRB0&keywords=hose%2Brepair%2Btape&qid=1658387018&sprefix=hose%2Brepair%2Btape%2Caps%2C98&sr=8-5&th=1
Small roll 10' of 16ga stranded wire
Air Gauge
Box Knife
Flashlight
Headband Flashlight
Pair of gloves
A couple of mechanics rags
Fuze puller
Fuzes
Small can of WD40
I also carry an inflator, tire plug kit, Milwaukee M18 Impact Gun, jumper cables, a 1/2" Torque Wrench, some good quality rope, IFAK, a small fire extinguisher, and three LED flashing warning lights.
What am I forgetting?

If you are going to BR, you might want to add a Ma Deuce.

I only keep duct tape, zip ties, a shovel, and lime in my truck.

I honestly don't think all of those tools are going to fit in that tool bag. And somehow, even off you could carefully nest it all together like a monkey puzzle, I feel like you would always have to remove ALL of it to access ANY of it.
Maybe add some nylon straps.

Multiple ratchets and bits it’s a waste in the truck imo. Just carry one full set at most.
There’s no reason to carry stuff that’s not a ‘fix it until I get home’ tool.
I’d get a magnet on a stick or something to grab a bolt or but your drop down into your engine while working.

Is all that in case the truck breaks? I would get a more reliable truck. But have some gloves cause stuff going to be hot.
