Carlin was right about looking at the average American and seeing how dumb they can be and realizing there are a whole lot of people dumber than that person.

How do 71% of dems like the inflation, gas prices, etc?

Oh yeah. They hate America just like their leader does

How can anyone let alone 71% of a group approve of this shitshow? He's failed in every possible way and they still won't leave him.

Edit: I have to now admit that I was wrong about how low he could go. I figured his floor was the mid 30s. I'm glad to be wrong. Thank God.

Are people reading the same poll I am?

In the same poll, Democrats are getting 45% of the vote and Republicans are getting 44% of the vote in a generic ballot.

Democrats - 45%
Republicans - 44%

This suggests that voters who disapprove of Biden are still sticking with Democrats. This doesn't suggest the disaster that people think it is - people blame Biden rather than Democrats in general.

Trump is polling at 37% in this poll so he's not doing much better either. If Trump is on the ballot and a fresh Democrat is on the ballot, my money would be on the Democrat.

If it's Trump and Biden, it would be anybody's game.

quote:

Joe Biden: 35 percent favorable, 58 percent unfavorable, 5 percent haven't heard enough about him;

Donald Trump: 37 percent favorable, 55 percent unfavorable, 4 percent haven't heard enough about him;

Trump running again is literally the only shot that Biden has at getting re-elected.

What has he done to still have a 61% approval rating among blacks? You can’t tell me black people are better off under Biden.

The 10th variation of Covid and emergency ballot harvesting powers decreed by unelected state bureaucrats will ensure this.

No he’s not. Voters are pissed and don’t approve, but when he is matched against Trump, Trump only has a 5 point lead. I think it was 48-43 Trump, so some of those expressing disapproval, probably disapprove because he hasn’t gone full communist, but will grudgingly vote for him.

In this same poll, Democrats are polling around equal to Republicans.

45% - Democrats
44% - Republicans

So I'm not sure this is the victory people think it is. When there's record high inflation, you should expect Republicans to be winning in a landslide.

My prediction is +5 margin victory for Republicans in the 2022 mid-terms. That's shockingly low considering how high inflation is right now.

I'm surprised how well Democrats are holding up in such a high inflation environment and I say that as someone who will vote for the Democrats in 2022.

Throw these approval/disapproval numbers out the window when you're talking about what actually happens in the voting boothes.
