White guy killed other white guy who killed 3 Hispanic people. This guy might actually be OK in the court of public opinion. Not that they will celebrate him, because Lord knows we can’t have an example of the good guys with guns theory, but maybe not crucify him and just let this whole story fade into memory since it doesn’t fit the narrative.

Bad look for Simon Properties if they do anything but thank this kid.
They want to ban anyone from carrying a gun on their property but they clearly have no mechanisms in place to ensure that actually happens, hence the bad guy that starts blasting shoppers. They weren’t able to stop the bad guy from bringing the weapon, nor stop him once he started firing. So taking any negative action towards the man that ended the threat will only serve to further highlight that they can’t keep protect you but they don’t want you to protect yourself either.
