Feels like a lot of people have said this to me over the last few weeks while talking with them. I’m beginning to interpret this phrase as the person not knowing how to hold a conversation so they fall back on a good neutral response that can be used in almost any context… “that’s fair”. Also fwiw it seems it’s most prevalent in younger people.

People in my company say “that’s reasonable “ a lot which aggravates me. Being reasonable is a pretty low bar to set. Shouldn’t that be a minimum requirement for any plan or action?

“Vibe or Vibes” is another buzzword that has been getting thrown around as well and it makes me cringe.

I find myself saying this often at work. I have no clue where I picked it up.
