Society’s newest buzzword/phrase: “That’s fair”

Feels like a lot of people have said this to me over the last few weeks while talking with them. I’m beginning to interpret this phrase as the person not knowing how to hold a conversation so they fall back on a good neutral response that can be used in almost any context… “that’s fair”. Also fwiw it seems it’s most prevalent in younger people.

People in my company say “that’s reasonable “ a lot which aggravates me. Being reasonable is a pretty low bar to set. Shouldn’t that be a minimum requirement for any plan or action?

Six of one, half a dozen of the other

Newest? I’ve been hearing that for years.

We said fair enough in England all the time.

We need to have a conversation about it.

Why do people from England sound like pussies?

“Vibe or Vibes” is another buzzword that has been getting thrown around as well and it makes me cringe.

That's fair is fair enough.

I find myself saying this often at work. I have no clue where I picked it up.

Have you had experience traveling/living there?

I use it when I think someone is just too dumb to argue with
