I am 56 years old. I have been “churched” since I was a kid. Never have I ever heard anyone teach flat earth. I went to a very conservative Baptist church that had a private school….. they didn’t teach flat earth. They taught actual science. This flat earth thing is a new perversion, another angle for heretics. It is Jim Jones crazy and I hate that Christians are being painted with the broad brush.

I went to Catholic school and even they told us that the Old Testament is not meant to be taken literally. From what I remember, the gospel was supposedly the word of god where the Old Testament was just parables and stories that were meant to teach lessons

That may actually be true.
A couple o my best Christian friends cannot extract themselves from The World's hardened Pagan dogmas. I get it. It is embedded.
Some do not even want to entertain the notion of Flat Earth and His Creation (NO "Outer Space either) -- even though Scripture backs it all up 100%.
If it helps edify the truth of the matter, MANY Christians are indeed snapping out of the Pagan Dogma that IS "Globe Earth", "Space", Evolution, "Stone Age Man"-pre-Adamic Man, 4.3 billion year old Olde Earth theory AND...The Big Bang.
I'm sure our other "Christian" friend believes ALL of that (which is REALLY "insane".)
The Bible Believer simply can NOT keep on believing any of this world's Pagan pseudo-science dogma OVER that of Scriptural truth. THAT is the real "Heresy".

Not saying I believe in flat earth but…. the US government is telling you the earth is round. That is a point for the flat earth believer.
