Is this feeling what the Jews felt in Germany???

I'm not comparing our situation with what the Jews went through in Germany in the late '30's. I'm suggesting there's a similarity in the feeling of helplessness.
The best analogy I can come up with, for our current state of affairs, is a sculptor slowly chipping away at a block of granite. Nothing big has happened that would cause national outrage, but our rights and freedoms are being slowly dispatched. Actually I think many "Big" things have happened, they are just being propoganded away.
The folks on Jan 6 were trying to take action, and they are being systematically prosecuted. Which I'm sure is their intent...to send a message.
I want this shite to end, but I feel completely helpless. Like I'm just a bystander watching all this shite go down. I know the short answer to how best can I help is "Vote", but I think this is bigger than that. It feels like this has passed the tipping point where an elected official could intervene. It feels like this requires a complete overhaul.
This has turned into a clown world where an semblance of common sense has gone out the window.
I'm not afraid to take action, I simply don't know what action to take.

I agree with your analogy.

The way they are labeling people deplorables, terrorists, etc absolutely is the same. It’s a tactic

It’s going to get a lot worse

Agree!
Voting didn't help in 2020. I am curious why people think it is the answer in 2024.

Americans have guns. Isn't that what I always hear on here? That citizens having guns prevents a corrupt and tyrannical government from happening and citizens can hold the government accountable? If you feel helpless take your gun to Washington DC.

You make good points. However, the Jews/Nazi analogy obviously includes racial oppression of a minority group, so it doesn’t really apply here.
Mao’s China and the Red revolution is more apt, or really any communist revolution. Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, Franco’s Spain..: it’s basically the same script.
Correction: In saying “Franco’s Spain” I implied Franco was communist. That’s wrong, he was a brutal anti-communist. Nevertheless, Spain devolved into civil war over communism, which was the point that makes it a cautionary tale for us.

Don’t be so flippant about such things. The U.S.A. is no Sri Lanka, but it could happen, and oh what a terrible, world altering event it would be.
It’s still possible and even likely that we correct our course before such a catastrophe would take place, with God’s help.

Tyrants take over by mocking dissenters.
I have no idea what Jews must have felt like in the 30s.
That said, I do feel uneasy about our liberties. The difference is, where the Germans had Hitler - the tyrants here are amorphous, faceless, uniformless bureaucrats and tech workers whose names we do not know. I find that scary. Not sure if they go violent - but they sure can spread around some misery.

What the Jews went though is far worse.
However, the tactics put forth by authoritarian regimes are generally the same.
1. Demonize
2. Ostracize
3. Victimize
4. Euthanize
Step 1 has been implemented.
Step 2 has been implemented for some...
- For instance, those that had the jab or job scenario
Step 3 are wrongful “prosecutions” (persecutions)
The Soros DA’s , purges in government agencies, and the lack of due process for those “detained” in DC are examples of this.
Let’s hope we never get to step 4.

At the end we will get a chance to die with our boots on, so a little different

I submit that if you're asking the question that your premise is already validated.
Agreed. It is far bigger than voting. That is not debatable in my view.

Never.
Jews became the words most popular victim, I have no desire for victimhood.
Regardless of what they do, frick em. I'll be fine.

Talk to any small business owner from Venezuela who was forced to flee their country many years ago before shite really hit the fan. When I speak with them, that’s the feeling I get in today/tomorrow’s America.

True. But they also could've fled Germany to more freedom loving countries. There is no longer anywhere else to go in our time. We have to fight it here.

Someday this will happen. It's almost inevitable at this point, but the two more intriguing thing about such an even will be 1) What will be the final spark to set it off? and 2) When the United States Government turn it's military (Or what's left of it when those who honor their Oath to the country refuse unlawful orders to attack American citizens) What country will join the fight against the tyrannical government that's murdering its own people like the United States has done so many times in the past in other countries? The answer is not none, incase you were wondering. It's an interesting and dangerous proposition.

They tried to do the same with unvaccinated by attempting to segregate them from participating in the economy and working and society
