I have hit a deer that was thrown in the air like that, landed, got up and ran into the woods. Within a minute a pack of dogs were running the same path. It was a nice buck too. Result was $9,000 damage to my front end in 2012.

Same here. I did a 360 and ended up in a friends yard, who was a La State Trooper.
We went looking for the deer and couldn't find it, nor a blood trail. Those boogers are tough.

Never hit a moose. Hit a kangaroo once. A big red will really frick up your car. I got lucky and only hit the head. Still did some solid damage, though.

Did you make a burger out of it and put a beet root on it ( had a kangaroo burger in Sydney)
