I don’t know. I’d say it’s 1-1. That moose won’t see another sunrise.

Doing 25. They love headlights at night to help cross the road. They'll run beside you then do a quick 90 degree turn.

Didn't hurt the moose, did mess up the passengers side mirror and cracked the windshield.

No but I saw the immediate aftereffects of a juvenile vs car. Happened right outside my grandparents house and the car right behind them stopped to help & sought assistance from the closest house (my grandparents). This was in the woods of Maine in the 90s so cell phones were not a thing yet. The town police or maybe the game warden let my grandpa keep the fresh kill, so he called up my uncle to help him string it up and cut it for the freezer. I still remember when they cut into the moose and the blood was so warm there was steam coming off the bucket.

Scary think about an adult moose is that, in a sedan, their bellies are at windshield level.

New ride coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Flying Moose. All kidding aside, that was pretty sad.

Hunted Canada for many years, and getting to know the people, almost everyone has a family member die of hitting a Moose. The problem is they are tall, long legged, and at night when you just can’t see them( they are dark colored), they just blend with the asphalt. The length of their legs are the big killer, though, not just their immense size. Their legs are fairly long for feeding in the tundra, and when hit by a car, it puts their body weight right at window height, and their body come in right through the windshield, and at their weight, it’s deadly. In the Twitter clip, the moose slips and stays low at impact, and those people got lucky….

couldn't believe how many moose we saw up there last summer, they're everywhere, and of course the dumbasses that would try to approach them to get a better pic, was just waiting to be an extra on a Darwinism video

We had them everywhere when I lived there. Moose are more unpredictable than bear, hopefully some of those people catch some Karma.

The hay flats between Anchorage and Palmer is like a moose pasture.
